Interpretation of Ocular Measurement Equipment Results and Key Considerations
Dr. Sungho Choi was invited as a speaker at a symposium hosted by Alcon, a global ophthalmic company. On July 14 and 30, 2024, at the symposium, he gave a lecture on how to interpret the results from ocular measurement equipment, which is crucial for the outcomes of cataract surgery. Using clinical data from over 1,500 eyes that had Claron Panoptics implanted for more than a year at our clinic, Dr. Choi compared and analyzed the clinical outcomes of the existing measurement equipment and Alcon's new device, Argos. Through this comparison, he explained in detail the causes, frequency, and solutions to the errors that can occur, which garnered significant attention.
