The existing Corneal Crosslinking has been unable to be combined with LASIK and LASEK due to the complexity
and time-consuming nature of the procedure, but the KXL SYSTEM developed by Avedro in the United States
has shortened the time and can be applied to existing surgeries to provide the safest visual correction.

LASIK - LASEK Extra Surgical Process
STEP 01
In the LASIK, LASEK
surgical procedure,
a part of the cornea is
shaved with an excimer laser.
STEP 02
Add Vibex Xtra Riboflavin
and allow to absorb
for 90 seconds.
STEP 03
Clean the surface
of the cornea and
cover the flap.
STEP 04
Irradiate with UV light
for 90 seconds.
This activates the riboflavin
and strengthens the corneal bond.
